Austin Harm Reduction Coalition

Austin Harm Reduction Coalition (AHRC) is a non-profit volunteer based organization that works to prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS and Hepatitis C for people who inject drugs (PWID) in Austin, Texas. They provide HIV & HCV testing, drug treatment referrals, medical care, overdose prevention and resources to prevent disease transmissions such as condoms, alcohol pads, and supplies for safe injection.

 

Center for Health Empowerment

The Center for Health Empowerment is the total health and wellness partner for Austin’s communities of color. Their nonprofit medical center promotes sexual health and total well-being by offering leading-edge medical treatments that help prevent HIV, cure Hepatitis C and prevent and treat other sexually transmitted infections. At no cost, they offer affirming, empowering care, HIV & STI testing, access to PrEP/PEP/HEP C treatment, STI treatment, and resource access services. To make an appointment, click HERE.

 

AIDS Services of Austin (Vivent Health)

ASA offers integrated, patient-centered, and life-affirming programs & services that focus on preventing new transmissions and helping people living with HIV thrive. This includes HIV & primary care, PrEP/PEP, free and rapid testing, a free online condom store, oral healthcare, case management, food and nutrition services, housing assistance, health insurance and medication assistance, legal assistance, and more.

 

Kind Clinic

A program of Texas Health Action, the Kind Clinic provides sexual health services including PrEP and PEP access, STI testing and treatment, HIV testing, and gender affirming care to Central Texans in need. The Kind Clinic strives to provide sexual health services to all members of the LGBTQ community and allies, regardless of race, creed, gender expression, or sexual orientation.

 

Out Youth

Out Youth offers individual counseling to youth and young adults ages 12 to 23. They strive to make counseling services affordable and accessible. For individuals and families who can afford to pay, they charge $10 per counseling session.

Whatsinthemirror?

Whatsinthemirror? is a 501c3 non-profit organization and social movement that provides suicide prevention and mental health awareness through art and advocacy to people of color and low socio-economic communities. They focus on marginalized communities that includes women, LGBTQIA+, and youth.
