Inclusive Sex Ed in AISD
The school board unanimously passed the scope and sequence for inclusive sex ed instruction.
In May and June, they're deciding on specific lesson plans.
More votes are coming up.

This amazing resource provides tons of information about how schools can best support LGBTQ+ youth.

Informed Parents of Austin is looking to expand!
Informed Parents of Austin would like to have participation from other Central Texas school districts, not just AISD.
There might be an interest meeting in the near future, stay tuned for updates.
Austin Pride
The Saturday before Pride, AISD is having an art exhibition.
Pflugerville High School has attended as spectators before, and they used the district Suburbans to take students.
If we march in the parade, we're considering selling shirts to cover the interest fee.
Different colored shirts for each district?
We might just copy AISD's t-shirt design since they've done this before.
Freshman Orientation
The Pflugerville High School GSA participates every year and makes it mandatory for their officers.
If we make it a coalition thing, we can maybe send groups of people to different schools' freshman orientations so there's a better turnout.
It shows the parents and the community that schools are inclusive.
